TDI Technical DPV Diver

The TDI Technical DPV course provides training in the use of Diver Propulsion Vehicles during technical dives to the divers current level of certification. The objective of the course is to train divers in safe DPV use and emergency procedures while using the DPV. We offer this course on the Suex XJ37, one of the most powerful DPVs on the market. With a top speed of 85m/min you can easily cruise through several dive sites in one dive effortlessly. The course is offered over 2 days with 4 dives or as a recreational level course over 1 day with 2 dives

Who is this course for?

  • The techical diver or recreational diver wanting to extended their range of exploring the underwater world

Course Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent

  • Minimum Open Water Diver with 25 dives

What can you expect to learn

  • Safe handling and navigating underwater with a DPV

  • Emergency procedures while using a DPV (out of gas, lost mask...etc)

  • DPV specific emergency skills (flooded DPV, broken DPV...etc)
